HÖRNER Fortis Geldbörse aus Ziegenleder in Vintage-Optik mit Patina

Genuine goat leather that tells a story

The Fortis is crafted from genuine goat leather, combination-tanned and oiled. The unique quality of this material is its ability to evolve. With every day of use, the leather develops an individual patina, lighter at the edges, darker in the areas you touch most frequently.

After a few months, no two Fortis wallets look the same.

What we consistently observe with our leather accessories: customers who use genuine, oiled leather in their daily lives never want to return to synthetic materials. The feel is different, softer, warmer, and more substantial.

RFID protection for your cards

Integrated RFID protection reliably blocks the unauthorised reading of your contactless credit cards and identity documents. There is no need for a separate case or protective sleeve, the protection is built directly into the wallet.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many cards fit into the Fortis?

The Fortis offers 9 separate card slots and 2 transparent internal compartments for your most important cards: debit cards, credit cards, driving licence, insurance cards, and more. It also features two note compartments, a coin pocket with a press stud closure, and a security compartment with a zip.

Does the wallet protect against RFID scanning?

Yes. The Fortis features integrated RFID protection that blocks the contactless reading of your credit and bank cards. You do not need a separate protective sleeve or card blocker. The protection is permanently and maintenance-free incorporated into the material.

What type of leather is used?

The Fortis is made of genuine goat leather, combination-tanned and oiled (vintage look). The leather has a natural grain and develops an individual patina over time. Every wallet looks slightly different after a few months of use.

How do I care for the leather?

Oiled goat leather requires little, but correct care. Occasionally rub the wallet with a neutral leather balsam, this keeps the material supple. Allow wet leather to dry at room temperature; do not use a hairdryer. Avoid sitting on the wallet for long periods, as this can distort the compartment layout.
